Text Box: Product Detail

CERALON is a coating system that consists of an aluminum-filled polyphosphate base coat CERAL 114 which is made electrically conductive and an organic polymeric phosphate based top coat CERAL P. It is the ideal coating for all ferrous compressors and steam turbine components which have severe corrosion and fouling environment.

CERALON prevents fouling and as a result of that also the loss of the compressor efficiency. Increase in service intervals is a direct consequence.

Ceralon—Antifouling Coating

The main benefits of CERALON are:

· smooth surface finish

· sacrificial corrosion protection

· high resistance to jet fuels and hydraulic& lube oils

· excellent resistance to fouling

· no hydrogen embrittlement

· high bond strength

CERALON combines the effects of the sacrificial base coat and the un-reactive wetting resistant top coat. Because of that property CERALON resists wetting by any particulate or fluid in the gas stream.
